Our Mission

The mission of Hogs and Kisses of Texas Animal Sanctuary is to build an environment where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness, so that fewer animals suffer from abandonment and neglect. Also, to offer community education programs to raise awareness of the animals’ needs, and the responsibilities for their care.

Who We Are

The sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was created in 2020 by Liz Seibt and Francois DesCotes in Sanger, Texas. They saw a need for a safe place to re-home mini pigs due to misinformation and lack of education surrounding the “teacup” pet pig trend.
